Remedial Massage
Remedial Massage is a general massage to clear and release muscular structures to increase relaxation and mobility and reduce blood pressure. Sports massage is deeper and opens up deep muscle fibres that restrict muscle performance and range.
Deep Tissue Fascia Release
This is a treatment to free up myofascial conditions as well as improving internal organ function. The main causes of dysfunction is trauma, post operational scaring and some types of pathology.
Japanese Integrated Medicine
Japanese Integrated Medicine is a holistic and complementary approach to managing health and well-being, both physically and internally. Physical medicine helps with ailments such as neck, shoulder and back pain. Whilst internal medicine provides treatments for headaches, digestive ailments, immunity and muscular skeletal conditions like arthritis.
Craniosacral Therapy

Active Balance is a physiotherapy clinic based in Bedfordshire. Lead Physiotherapist, Clement, has been practising for over 25 years, specialising in pain relief, rehabilitation, massage, mobilisation and acupuncture.
We specialise in rehabilitation and treatment plans for clients suffering from work-related and road traffic accidents. We have worked closely with several notable insurance companies in this regard and provide detailed reports as well as assisting the client in their full recovery.
We believe in a holistic approach to healing the body and devise treatment plans that help promote the patients overall health and well-being. We assist the rehabilitation process by developing and restoring the body systems, in particular the musculoskeletal neurological, cardiovascular and respiratory systems. We devise and review treatment programmes. comprising of manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
Lead Physiotherapist, Clement, is also qualified in Japanese integrated medicine, which he uses alongside his practice to alleviate internal problems.
